Özet:

The Nusayris, known as a minority community living in the province of Hatay and its environs; due to the fact that they live their beliefs and rituals in a closed place, objective evaluations about them could not be reached. Therefore, the culture, identity, beliefs, and more broadly, the folk tradition of the Nusayris, who constitute a large part of the population of the region, are on the verge of disappearing. In the study, the concept of soul migration, which constitutes the most basic acceptance of the beliefs of the Nusayris, will be examined. This concept, which is known by different names such as reincarnation, transmigration, transmigration, rebirth, etc., has been understood as an accepted belief in many parts of the world. In the research conducted in the field, it has been determined that this belief is prevalent among Anatolian Alevis and Nusayris, also called Arab Alevis. The field study was carried out on this community, also called Nusayri, Nuseyri, Alavi, Arab Alevis, living in Hatay, Adana, Mersin and their surroundings. The concept of transmigration of souls, which is the most basic law of their beliefs, and the manifestation of this belief in their daily lives, were examined and analyzed in the light of the compilations we made in the region, supported by previous research.
