Özet:

The history of diplomacy is as old as the history of humanity itself. Diplomacy, defined as the art of conducting negotiations between states, constitutes one of the cornerstones of international relations. In the contemporary era, and in consideration of global developments, the practice of diplomacy has undergone significant changes. Furthermore, the scope of diplomatic activities has been broadened by the introduction of new titles. The variety of diplomatic practices that have emerged over time is extensive, and includes the following: bilateral diplomacy, public diplomacy, multilateral diplomacy, economic diplomacy, and religious diplomacy. The concept of religious diplomacy, alternatively referred to as faith-based diplomacy, signifies a novel approach entailing the involvement of religious actors in political processes. Despite the prevalent secular perspective within state administrations today, actors engaged in the practice of religious diplomacy participate in processes within the framework of religious understanding, seeking to address issues within this established framework. The practices of the Prophet of Islam can be evaluated within the framework of religious diplomacy. It is evident that the actions undertaken by the Prophet within the context of diplomacy or any other matter are predominantly driven by religious motivations. These actions are undertaken with the intention of propagating his faith, adhering to Allahs directives, and fulfilling his prophetic obligations. It is evident that, in accordance with this approach, all activities undertaken within the context of diplomacy are inherently and ultimately founded on faith. When the life of the Prophet of Islam and his prophetic attributes are analysed within the framework of diplomacy, they contain important practices that are mostly dealt with under the title of religious diplomacy. However, it is also possible to consider the Prophets practices in the field of diplomacy as diplomacy practices in general, including the Prophets practices such as seals, etc. in the field of diplomacy, based on the fact that the Prophet did all verbal or actual actions in accordance with his faith. Furthermore, it has been observed that the activities undertaken by the Prophet during his time in Medina exemplified diplomatic practices in four distinct domains. The following are the actions of the individual in question: a The sending of letters to rulers and communities, inviting them to embrace Islam. b The sending of ambassadors to rulers and communities. c The acceptance of ambassadors and delegations at his court. d The exchange of gifts. When the practices and attributes of the Prophet Muhammad and his practices within the scope of diplomacy are analysed, parallels are seen. In this article, an analysis was conducted of the Prophets exemplary practices in the field of diplomacy in four areas. These practices were then compared with the philosophy of the West in this field. The objective of the present study is to analyse the relationship between the five attributes of the Prophets and diplomacy practices. In addition, the study will present the Prophet Muhammads PBUH practices in the field of diplomacy as examples of alternative solutions for actors in todays expanding, increasing political disputes and hot conflict regions.

Hz. Muhammedin s.a.v. diplomasi alanındaki pratiklerini alternatif çözüm örnekleri olarak sunmaktır.
