Özet:

The Hurri, an important ethnic element in the east and southeast of Anatolia, is a society spread over a wide geography from the Eastern Black Sea Mountains in the north to Kirkuk and Mosul in the south; from the Zagros Mountains in the east to Central Anatolia in the west. In this vast geography, they played an important role in the political history and culture of the societies they interacted with. It is possible to see this interaction in the literary and religious texts of the period. The Hurris, who served as a bridge between Mesopotamia and Anatolia, adopted Mesopotamian cultures and carried this culture to Anatolia by adding some elements from themselves. In particular, religious concepts and practices were generally transferred from Mesopotamians to the Hurrians, from the Hurrians to the Hittites and the northwestern Semitic peoples, and from there to Greece and Rome. The cultural influence of the Hurrians continued for many years.
