Özet:

Ghiyath al-Din Kaykhusraw I was one of the mighty ruler of the Anatolian Seljuk State. The foundations of the political structuring of the state were laid by this sultan. Events that could happen to very few sultans in history happened to him. Kaykhusraw I the Anatolian Seljuk State throne after the death of his father, Kilij Arslan II but his brothers did not accept his reign. His brother Rukn al- Din Suleyman Shah II besieged the capital of Konya and, he took over the Seljuk throne from Kaykhusraw I after a tough struggle. Kaykhusraw I, who lost the throne, visited his brothers in Anatolia and some other state rulers and administrators with the hope of reclaiming the sultanate, and then he moved to Constantinople l, the capital of the Byzantine Empire, and resided here for a long time until he took the throne again. In this study, after the dethronement of Kaykhusraw I, the visits he made to his brothers and other states in each region or city of Anatolia and the events that happened during his stay in Constantinople were discussed. The content of these visits was emphasized, the aim he wanted to achieve with his visits was mentioned and an evaluation was made on whether he reached this goal or not.

 I. Gıyâseddin Keyhusrev, Türkiye Selçuklu Devletinin kudretli hükümdarlarından biridir.
