 The purpose of this study is to examine the opinions of the preschool candidate teachers about the candidate teacher training process. The descriptive research model was used in the study. The study group of the study consists of 15 the preschool candidate teachers working in Arnavutköy district of Istanbul province. Data of the study were collected by semi-structured interview forms developed within the study. Due to the fact that the studys conceptual structure and the code and category that will form the basis of its analysis were established in advance, the descriptive analysis approach was used. As a result, it has been understood that distance education applications such as courses and seminars do not contribute to the professional development of the preschool candidate teachers and the advisor teacher practice is among the aspects of the program that should be developed. In addition, the preschool candidate teachers have stated that the forms filled in the lesson planning process are unnecessary and the forms filled in the course implementation and evaluation process are not realistic. They have emphasized that the performance evaluation system is not entirely fair and it is superficial, unreasonable and workload and causes stress.

 Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul öncesi alanındaki aday öğretmenlerin aday öğretmen yetiştirme sürecine yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın amacına yönelik olarak betimsel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu İstanbul ili Arnavutköy ilçesinde görev yapan okul öncesi alanındaki 15 aday öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında çalışma dâhilinde geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın kavramsal yapısı ve analizine temel oluşturacak kod ve kategoriler önceden belirlendiği için betimsel analiz yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Uzaktan eğitim kurs ve seminerlerinin aday öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine katkısı olmadığı; danışman öğretmen uygulamasının, programın geliştirilmesi gereken yönleri arasında olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca aday öğretmenler ders planlama sürecine yönelik doldurulan formların gereksiz olduğu; ders uygulama ve değerlendirme sürecinde doldurulan formların gerçekçi olmadığını dile getirmişlerdir. Aday performans değerlendirme sisteminin adil olmadığı; yüzeysel, mantıksız ve iş yükü olduğunu; strese yol açtığını ifade etmişlerdir. Çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlere göre aday performans değerlendirme sistemi olmamalıdır.
