Özet:

As a term, āl-i abā or penche-i āl-i abā has been used frequently in literary works. The liteary work of unknown authorship, which we have examined in our article and is registered in the library catalogue as Siyer-i Āl-i Beyt, from beginning to end, narrates a story particularly about āl-i abā. It was understood that the work is a prose translation of a treatise written by Celâleddîn Suyūti. There are also two Turkish verse translations of Suyūtīs treatise. Researchers who have previously studied these works have not recognised a third translation. In our article, a third prose translation of Suyūtīs work, Siyer-i Āl-i Beyt was introduced and compared with the two verse translations mentioned above. Although it is a translation, it doesnt follow a literal translation method. Considering the authors personal preferences and the explanations he added himself, it can be considered as an original literary work. In addition, as stated in previous studies on verse translations, it has been shown in our article that the narration of the ahl al-kisa is not a hadith. Because this narration doesnt exist in any hadith source, including sources collecting fabricated hadiths. Suyūtī didnt narrate a hadith about ahl al-kisā, but narrated a story that was probably told in oral culture. And in later periods, this story was taken from Suyūtīs treatise, a fabricated chain of narration was added in the beginning and some words that served Shia propaganda were added at the end and it was shared in some Shia sources such as Avālimul-Ulūm and Mafātīhul-Cinān in a form of hadith. Siyer-i Āl-i Beyt, which is adorned with arguments such as the blessing of ahl al-kisā with a table sent down from heaven is also noticeable in terms of showing how holiness is given to ahl al-kisā in a literary work.

Âl-i abâ veya pençe-i âl-i abâ tabirleri, edebî eserlerde çokça kullanılmıştır. Makalemize konu edindiğimiz, kütüphane kataloğuna Siyer-i Âl-i Beyt ismiyle kaydedilmiş müellifi belirsiz eser ise baştan sona sadece âl-i abâya dair bir kıssayı aktarmaktadır. Gökten indirilen sofra ile kisâ ehlinin nimetlendirilmesi, ehl-i kisânın ayrıcalıklı olduğuna dikkat çekilmesi, yalnızca âl-i abânın kıyamet günü cehennem korkusundan emin olacaklarının ve sadece kendilerine şefaat edileceğinin ifade edilmesi, sıradan insanların ulaşamayacağı, Allaha en yakın anın ve İlahî aşk cezbesinin kisâ-i Yemânî altında mestûr olduğunun belirtilmesi vb. içerik unsurlarıyla bezeli Siyer-i Âl-i Beyt, bir edebî eserde kisâ-i Yemânî motifine ve ehl-i kisâya nasıl kutsallık izâfe edildiğini göstermesi bakımından dikkat çekicidir.
