Özet:

Neighborhoods are one of the most important parts of cities. The development of cities will be possible with the development and change of neighborhoods. In addition, it is very important that the strategies to be developed for todays cities, where the understanding of sustainable planning is of great importance, should be developed in a holistic, local-specific and ecological way. In this context, the certification systems developed in the world are important documents for the realization of sustainable practices on a neighborhood scale. In the study, a study was conducted on the LEED ND LEED for Neighborhood Development certificate, which is one of these certification systems. In this context, the Meltem neighborhood of Muratpaşa district of Antalya province has been determined as the study area. As a result of the assessments, although the neighborhood have been reached the score to receive a certificate, it could not get one; because it has not been met some prerequisites.
