Özet:

Munāsabāt al-Qurʾān has been evaluated as an important issue in the field of tafsīr and especially in the ʿulūm al-Qurʾān. In addition, it is observed that there is a remarkable independent literature related to this science. There is a conviction that the tafsīr works that take munāsabāt al-Qurʾān into account started with Zamakhsharī and systematized with Fakhruddīn al-Rāzī. It is a known fact that the appearance of independent literature on this science coincides with later periods. For this reason, an opinion arose that a content related to this issue was not reflected in the works before the sixth century AH. This article is based on the hypothesis that The authority of the Muṣhaf arrangement lead the readings taking the munāsabāt into account to earlier periods put forward in the article titled An Investigation on the Historical Origin of the Reflections of Relations among the Verses to the Tafsīrs: The Case of Tafsīr Muqātil in 2020. As a matter of fact, the analysis made in the context of Tafsīr Muqātil has shown that the history of the munāsabāt-based interpretations extends to the early tafsīrs. This article aims to identify the cores and traces of munāsabāt al-Qurʾān in the early ʿulūm al-Qurʾān literature. The inclusion of the relevant literature in the research is due to the existence of sciences and subject headings related to munāsabāt al-Qurʾān. In this context, Ibn Quṭaybas d. 276889 Taʾwīl Mushkil al-Qurʾān and Ḥārith al-Muḥāsibīs al-ʿAql wa Fahm al-Quran are analyzed in terms of content in the context of munāsabāt al-Qurʾān. In these analyses, a comparative method is adopted with the tafsīrs of Zamakhsharī and Rāzī. As a result of the research, it has been revealed that the subject of munāsabāt in the early period is included both among the mushkil issues and under the titles such as uslūb al-Qurʾān, taqdīm-taʾkhīr. The fact that the verses discussed in the related titles were included in a munāsabāt-centered context in Zamakhsharī and Rāzī tafsīrs has emerged as a remarkable finding regarding the history of the ʿulūm al-Qurʾān. The results of this research support the idea that it is a necessity to follow the traces of ʿulūm al-Qurʾān in the subsequent ʿulūm al-Qurʾān literature.
