Özet:

Hemp, especially industrial hemp, has been released under controlled conditions in many countries in recent years with various laws and regulations. With the hemp regulation last revised in 2016 in Turkey, hemp cultivation was allowed in 21 provinces. In this study, it was aimed to create change and density maps using Geographic Information Systems GIS with the help of the last 5 years of data obtained from the Turkish Statistical Institute TUIK and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization FAO. 15 different density maps 3 products x 5 years, with map class numbers between 2-7, according to the harvested area ha, production tons and yield kgda amounts for hemp seeds and fiber for each year has been created. According to the results obtained, it has been determined that Turkey ranks 7th in the amount of harvested area in the world, 8th in production and 4th in yield. There has been a 500 increase in the world, especially in terms of production amount, from 2018 to 2022. It has been determined that, on average, hempseed production on a regional scale in Turkey is higher than fiber. The regions where hemp farming is most intense are the Aegean and Eastern Anatolia Regions.
