A total of 733 posts within the specified date range were examined using the content analysis method. The posts of the sports clubs were evaluated within the scope of the variables of post type, emoji usage status, content language and reason for sharing. The data obtained in the study were recorded in the Office Excel environment. Descriptive data such as percentage and frequency were performed using the SPSS package program SPSS 22.0, IBM. In the study, it was determined that sports clubs preferred photo posts more than video content. When the emoji usage variable is examined, it is seen that sports clubs frequently use emojis. According to the content language variable, it is determined that Fenerbahçe Medicana and Galatasaray HDI Sigorta prefer to use the official language, while Arkas Spor, Halkbank and Ziraat Bankkart stand out in using humorous language. It is determined that the reasons for sharing on the Instagram platform of sports clubs are mostly in the categories of match images, match information and after the match. According to the results obtained, it can be said that sports clubs tend to produce content related to the competition process in their Instagram posts, prefer photo content and use official language. It can be stated that humorous language and emoji are used selectively and strategically in the clubs Instagram posts. In this context, it is predicted that it would be beneficial for sports clubs to develop strategies to increase fan interaction and support their video content production infrastructures.
