Özet:

The science of Sirah biography of the Prophet is a field that has developed from peoples curiosity to know about the Prophet Mohammad. Within this field, alongside various sub-disciplines such as evidence, characteristics, and traits related to the life and character of the Prophet, research areas focused on events, individuals, or topics have been established. One of the significant expansions centered around events is the literature of Ahl al-Badr, which narrates the names of those who participated in the Battle of Badr. This area, developed by writers from various regions of the Islamic world and supported by a tradition of prayer, has become one of the thematic topics of Sirah and partially one of its sub-disciplines. Moreover, it can be said that, with the increasing interest it garners each day, it has become the most dynamic part compared to other sub-disciplines. The literature of Ahl al-Badr found in the works of the early Sirah authors began to acquire its own identity in the 6th12th century and produced its first examples in the 8th14th century. From the 11th17th century to the present, Ahl al-Badr literature, through poetry, prose, and historical narratives, has emerged as a field of virtue emphasizing the heroism, sacrifices, and spiritual values of those who participated in the Battle of Badr. With works written in different geographies from North Africa to India, Ahl al-Badr literature has constituted one of the most dynamic fronts of Sirah in the last three centuries. This area, which has drawn interest in recent centuries, awaits further research as a subject. Since little research has been conducted on the topic, organizing the scattered materials may seem like a sufficient initial effort. Thus, a wide literature analysis and comparative attempt regarding the field were made. The methods used in the study included qualitative research methods, induction, and deduction.
