Özet:

Global climate change is the most important environmental problem of today, threatening the whole world. In order to combat the negative effects of climate change, there are many national and international measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in all sectors. However, considering that energy sector that has the largest share in greenhouse gas emissions is the energy sector, it is an inevitable fact that transformation in the energy sector is a must. For this reason, countries are now making arrangements to align their energy policies with climate policies. In this direction, the main target in the energy sector is make the green energy transition. In this study; An analysis of the green energy policies implemented by the selected countries, which are assertive in green energy transition practices, on the axis of climate struggle, has been analyzed, in line with Turkeys current energy profile suggestions have been developed to ensure green energy transition in Turkey.
