Özet:

Thanks to the influence of developing technology on disciplines, studies in every field continue to be carried out faster and more effectively. While problems such as creating maps in forestry have become easier with the development of laser point cloud systems, restoration projects in architecture and transferring building facades to a three-dimensional environment have become possible. Unfortunately, laser scanning devices are often not easily accessible due to their large size, weight and cost. The Lidar Light Imaging Detection and Ranging sensor proposed in this study is a method that is both cost-effective and does not strain the person performing the measurement due to the small size of the device. The Lidar sensor used in the study is the size of the palm of your hand and is manufactured integrated with the SLAM Simultaneous Localization and Mapping method. It also provides results by connecting to mobile devices with a mobile application. The sensor, which is thought to find a field of use in architecture, is one of its biggest advantages in completing the reading of the plan diagram in a short time. As an example, the plan diagram of the childrens section of the Brookline Public Library was extracted, transferred to the computer environment and functional analyses were performed.
