Özet:

Digital activism is defined as a form of action carried out through digital platforms and tools to raise awareness and bring about change on social, political and environmental issues. This practice, which manifests itself in a wide range from social media campaigns to online petitions, blog and vlog content, virtual protests and hacktivism, draws attention in terms of its potential to create social change. Digital activism is categorized into different categories according to the way it is implemented. Awarenesspartisanship activism, kliktivismslaktivism, hacktivism and citizen journalism stand out among these categories. Today, especially the widespread use of social media has added a new dimension to digital activism and increased its importance. It is important to examine the studies on digital activism in the context of year, field, country, university, keyword, bibliographic matching of texts and bibliographic matching of authors through bibliometric analysis method. In this study, published studies on digital activism were evaluated by bibliometric analysis method and it was aimed to provide a comprehensive perspective to researchers. In this study using the bibliometric analysis method, a search was made in the Web of Science database on 15 October 2024 with the keyword digital activism and articles published between 2013-2023 were examined in SSCI, SCI-EXPANDED and ESCI indexes. In this context, 376 research articles published between 2013-2023 were evaluated by bibliometric analysis method using VOSviewer programme. Within the scope of the analysis, publications were analyzed from different perspectives such as year, field, country, university, keyword, bibliographic matching and co-citation links and related network maps were created.
