In classical literature, many poetic and prose works have been written about Abu Bakr, Umar, Osman and Ali, who are called as “Çehâr Yâr-ı Güzîn” and who became both the friend and caliph of the Prophet. Some of these works have been detached and some have been in sections within the works. The subject of study, "Çehâr Yâr-ı Güzîn", "Yenâbîü'l-Yakîn fî İhyâ'i 'Ulûmi'd-Dîn" was written in Ottoman Turkish at the beginning of the XVII century and is one of the most important works of Imam Gazzali. It is included in the work, which is a translation of u “Ihyâ’u Ulûmi'd-Dîn”.
