Özet:

In Kantemiroğlu Edvârı sixteen works belonging to Kantemiroğlu is available. In all of these works it is understood that the "Kantemiroğlu" expression is not written by Kantemiroğlu, it is written by musicians (or researchers) who hold the book in the later years, briefly the works attributed to Kantemiroğlu. But researches are made whether the notes are accurate written in postscript, it seen that except for the works attributed to Kantemiroğlu, there are some works attributed to some other composers whose names were found to be in conflict with some of the resources. This case indicates not only the author but also the poor reliability of the information obtained by the musician who wrote down note in postscript. The aim of the study is to investigate the whether the works attributed to Kantemiroğlu belong to him or not. For this purpose, in the score edition the seyir (melodic route) features of the (16) works attributed to Kantemiroğlu are compared with the definition and explanations made on these makams or terkips by Kantemiroğlu. There are a few studies that investigate whether the instrumental works attributed to Kantemiroğlu belong him or not. However, unlike previous studies it is an article that compares the makam descriptions found in Kantemiroğlu Edvârı Volume 1 with seyir features of instrumental works attributed to him which are found in Volume 2. As a consequence, when the makam descriptions are given by Kantemiroğlu compared with the seyir features of the examined works, it is seen that there are differences like tonic pitch and the used pitches. It is understood that the works of this kind do not belong to Kantemiroğlu. No differences were detected in the works written in the makams and terkips which haven’t altered much during the couse of time.
