Özet:

After the victory of Malazgirt, the Anatolian Seljuk State was founded in Anatolia by Süleyman Şah. In the early days of the Anatolian Seljuk State, it probably minted a small number of coins and used coins from other states in circulation, as in many newly founded states. From the reign of Mesud I onwards, the Anatolian Seljuk State began to mint its own coins. The Anatolian Seljuk coins used religious inscriptions, the name and title of the ruler, the place of minting, the date of minting, and the names of the Abbasid caliphs to show their religious affiliation. The coins contain geometric ornaments such as knots, squares, rectangles and stars, and vegetal ornaments such as rumi, curly branches and rose-hatayi. It is also possible to see depictions of şir-i hurşid and horsemen on horses on Anatolian Seljuk coins. In this study, the coins of the Anatolian Seljuk State were defined, the inscriptions on them were read and their general characteristics were explained. In addition, the coins were compared with coins minted by other states and the interaction between the coins was tried to be revealed.

Malazgirt zaferinden sonra Anadoluda Süleyman Şah tarafından Anadolu Selçuklu Devleti kuruldu. Anadolu Selçuklu Devletinin kuruluşunun ilk zamanlarında olasılıkla az sayıda sikke bastırmış ve yeni kurulan birçok devlette olduğu gibi tedavülde bulunan diğer devletlere ait sikkeleri kullanmıştır. I. Mesud döneminden itibaren ise Anadolu Selçuklu Devleti kendisine ait sikkeleri darp etmeye başlamıştır. Anadolu Selçuklu sikkeleri üzerinde şir-i hurşid ve at üzerinde süvari tasvirlerini de görmek mümkündür.
