Özet:

In the last days of 2012, a tombstone written in Old Turkic and Tang Dynasty Chinese was found in the Xian 西安 city of China, preserved in the Datang xishi 大唐西市 Museum in Xian. A cursory examination showed that the Chinese text is not a translation of the Old Turkic text. There are seventeen lines of text in the Old Turkic part of the inscription. The inscription was first studied at a meeting held at Peking University 北京大学 on 07 April 2013. This article primarily evaluates the studies carried out from the first publications to date. The first part is dedicated to the publications of the Old Turkic text whereas the second part focuses on the inscription itself. As the inscription in Chinese do not entail variation in reading and interpreting, the evaluation section concentrates on the different readings of the Old Turkic text. As a conclusion, it seems that this recently found inscription provides important information about the events that took place in the middle periods of the Uyghur Khanate.

2012 yılının son günlerinde Çin Halk Cumhuriyetinin Xian 西安 kentinde Eski Türkçe ve Tang Hanedanlığı dönemi Çincesiyle yazılmış bir mezar taşı bulunmuştur. Yazıt bulunduktan sonra Xian kentindeki Datang xishi 大唐西市 Müzesine nakledilmiştir. Çince ve Eski Türkçe metin, birbirinin çevirisi değildir. Yazıtın Eski Türkçe bölümü, on yedi satırlık bir metin içermektedir.
