Özet:

The manuscript titled Risâle-i Vudû' and Namaz alâ Erkan-ı Twelve Imams, registered with the number 06 Mil Yz A 4697/9 in the National Library Manuscripts Collection, is the subject of this study. In the study, first of all, general information about the physical characteristics of the journal in which the treatise is located and general information about the treatise are given, then the general opinion in Turkish society that there is no prayer in Bektashism and that Bektashis do not pray is emphasized. Contrary to this general opinion, both the written sources of Bektashism and the information given in the works of today's Bektashi sect members leave no room for doubt that the preliminary preparation of prayer, ablution and prayer are among the Bektashi worships. Although there are many written sources on this subject, not all of these sources have been mentioned, and some examples have been given. After this stage, the content analysis of the work called Risale-i Vudû' and Namaz alâ Erkan-ı Twelve Imams was started. The information given in the treatise on the subject of ablution and prayer has been evaluated, and the information about ablution and prayer given in the aforementioned treatise has been compared with other Bektashi works that describe the prayer and the catechism of the Caferi sect. In our study, the translation of the work and its meaning-oriented transfer to today's Turkish were also made.
