Özet:

Incest is a type of sexual abuse. Incest abuse, which usually starts at a young age, continues in later ages. The destructive side of incest for children is that it comes from people they see as family. Family is an institution in which most people feel safe. It is the institution where all the positive, negative, good and bad memories are experienced and from time to time troubles are overcome together. Child abused in such an important institution is traumatized. When we look at the incest relationship, it is seen that there are fewer studies compared to other types of abuse. Since incest takes place within the family, it is less likely to be exposed. Thats why its hard to come up with. Another reason is that when abusers abuse the child, they abuse the child when they are too young to understand what abuse is. On the other hand, although the abused knows what sexuality is, they are threatened by the abuser. Even if she is not threatened, she is brought to light because she is one of her family. For all these reasons, studies on incest are scarce. In this study, the movie Carousel, which deals with the life of the girl who was sexually abused by her father, was tried to be analyzed with the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Especially the exploitation scenes of the movie were watched and analyzed over and over again. Abuse scenes were analyzed by considering the literature. Again, as a result of the analysis, the similarities and differences with the studies in the literature were examined.
