Özet:

In addition to the role, they play in improving the quality of the environment, plants can be an imaginary factor in the perception of space and creating memory. Cupressus sempervirens var. pyramidalis which is considered in the context of this study can be easily distinguished from almost all the plants around it, both with its ecological and morphological features. In this study, the role of this plant in its use as a spatial image component has been revealed. It can define more than one image component in the landscape it is in, and it has the potential to strengthen the imageability feature of the component that it defines. Its use should be increased, especially in places where it is desired to emphasize the Mediterranean identity as an image component, by continuing its use from the past to the present.
