Özet:

The strengthened greenhouse effect, which has developed due to anthropogenic activities after the industrial revolution, has caused an increase in average temperatures by affecting the energy balance on earth in the direction of positive radiation. The increase in temperature adversely affects the natural and human systems on Earth. Although these increases are not at the same level in the whole of the earth, it is predicted to be realised as a long-term warming trend in the Mediterranean Basin where Turkey is located. For this reason, in this study, the maximum and minimum temperature trends of Çankırı province, part of the administrative boundary of which is located in the Central Anatolia Region and part in the Black Sea Region, were analyzed. Mann-Kendall and Sen Slope methods were used in the study. According to the results of the analyses, maximum temperatures have an increasing trend at statistically different significance levels. It was determined that this increasing trend reached different levels in the time series. While the increasing trends are significant at 0.01 level in Çankırı and Çerkeş, they are significant at 0.001 level in Ilgaz and Kurşunlu. These significant increases started at different time periods at the stations analyzed and were non-linear, mostly in the form of jumps and fluctuations. Minimum temperatures have a non-significant positive increasing trend at all stations except Ilgaz. A non-significant decreasing trend was observed at Ilgaz station. The decreasing trend at this station is not significant and linear, but rather in the form of jumps and fluctuations, and it was determined that after 2017, it showed an increasing trend compared to the previous year. In general, it is seen that temperatures in the research area are in an increasing trend. It is thought that these increases may be related to anthropogenic climate change effects. It is predicted that the warming trends in both the research area and global temperature increases will become stronger if the human-induced negative effects on the earth increase.
