Özet:

Gender is a concept that emerged to express the socially determined roles and responsibilities of men and women. The concept of gender neutralization or sexlessness, on the other hand, is the manifestation of a mentality that emphasizes the unnecessaryness of innate and inherent gender stereotypes and aims to break away from social acceptance based on gender. What we criticize in both schools of thought is that they want to draw attention to the fact that the male-dominated social structure is unjust and discriminatory while ignoring biological sex characteristics. This understanding of freedom, which extends to the idea that gender selection should be left to individuals, causes the destruction of human nature and social values. However, Islam prohibits any intervention aimed at disrupting nature as objectionable in terms of sharia and law. In this respect, gender neutralization projects are contrary to the fundamental Islamic principles. This study has determined the main points of current discussions based on gender. The aim of the study is to reveal that religion is not a factor that adopts a discriminatory or privileged attitude between genders. In the fundamental sources of Islam, a balancing policy is followed regarding gender roles. Contrary to the ideas of gender advocates, the basis of gender discrimination does not stem from religious sources but from the patriarchal mindset. Another aim is to emphasize that justice to be provided on gender roles rather than equality between the sexes will be a balancing approach in terms of social values. Moving away from the patriarchal structure in the search for social order and adopting a fair, balancing, and integrative attitude will create a consistent approach to overcoming the problems that arise between the sexes. Our study is based on a qualitative approach and literature review method. In this framework, the problems that gender and genderlessness discourses may create in terms of protecting the generation are discussed. This study puts forward the view that the discourse of a genderless society is an intervention against the personal rights of individuals. It also draws attention to the concerns that such discourses threaten the family values that form the basis of society and thus disrupt the social structure. Another aspect that makes the study important is that it emphasizes that the conflicting language used on the basis of genders pits women and men against each other by directing them to compete with each other. It is a noteworthy approach that social issues addressed within religious definitions are addressed from a human rights perspective rather than from a male or female perspective, and that people should not be evaluated according to their language, religion, color, profession or gender.
