Özet:

Style, which originates from the nature of the artist and can be considered the artists fingerprint in relation to their art, is one of the fundamental areas of research and examination in literature, an inseparable part of life. Style, which can also be defined as the ambitious whole of the values that linguistic signs gain within the discourse unique to the authorpoet, carries an individual quality and is shaped by characteristics unique to the artist. In this context, it is impossible to consider style separate from the artists nature, psychology, living environment, experiences, and relationship with society and those who govern it. Based on this perspective, this study conducts a stylistic analysis specifically on Taşlıcalı Yahyâ, one of the successful soldier-poets of his era. The Ottoman poet Yahyâ, who belonged to the Abdalan-ı Rum and followed the Bektashi order with a Kalandar disposition, constructed his unique style throughout his life. This was evident in his works, which showcased his strong rhetoric, especially his aesthetic appreciation for war and the art of soldiery, his thematic compositions, and his skillful use of poetic language according to the form or genre he chose. The study explores how the environment in which he was born and raised, his military profession, the sect he adhered to, and the malamat self-blaming nature he embodied often intertwined and influenced the style reflected in his various works. Additionally, it examines how the genre shaped his style and discusses the contributions of these micro-stylistic analyses to the history of literature.
