Özet:

The aim of this study is to determine the metabolic effects of anaerobic power test applied to amateur football players. A total of 22 male football players age: 19.771.6 years were recruited voluntarily from the regional amateur league RAL and the local amateur league LAL, participated in the study voluntarily. Wingate anaerobic power test WanT was used as anaerobic power test in the study. Blood samples were taken from the left arm elbow vein of all participants before the test TB at rest and after the test TA, and pulmonary function test PFT was performed. Metabolic effects of WanT, TB and TA forced vital capacity FVC, forced expiratory volume FEV1, lactic acid LA, partial oxygen pressure PO2, partial carbon dioxide pressure PCO2, plasma acid-base balance pH, bicarbonate HCO3, oxyhaemoglobin O2Hb, car-boxyhaemoglobin COHb and oxygen saturation SO2 levels were deter-mined by statistical comparisons. Statistical analyses were performed in SPSS 22.0 package program. Paired sample t test was used for comparison of the metabolic variables of footballers TB and TA and independent sample t-test was used for comparisons of two separate football league groups and the level of significance was accepted as p0.05. As a result, it was concluded that WanT, which lasted for 30 seconds, significantly increased the FEV1, LA and PCO2 levels of amateur football players, and decreased COHb, HCO3 and plasma pH significantly.
