Özet:

This study provides information about how Timuçin became Genghis Khan, Genghis Khans ideology, the reasons that led him to invasion and the Mongol Invasions. Timuçin, who made his name known to the whole world, came to the forefront among his own nation, and his decisions and victories offered him the Mongolian sovereignty. Tribes living independently from each other gathered around him one by one. Timuçin, who was elected as Khan in the congress held and took the name of Genghis, is still the subject of research even today with the aspect of dictating and implementing the rules necessary to govern the state and maintain order, known as the Mongolian Laws or the Law of Genghis Khan. In this study, in which we talk about the reasons that led Genghis Khan and the son of Genghis to the invasions that left their mark on history, and finally the Mongol invasion in general terms and the geographies it affected, a comparative method was followed with the works of both western and eastern researchers by taking Ata Melik Juwaynīs work Tarih-i Cihangüşa as the main source.
