Özet:

After the Battle of Malazgirt, many castles in Anatolia were abandoned and left empty. However, some strategically important castles were later inhabited and fortified by the Seljuk conquerors. Castles such as Konya, Kayseri, Sivas, Malatya, Afyon, and Erzurum were improved and fortified by Kılıç Arslan II, Gıyaseddin Keyhusrev I, İzzeddin Keykavus I, and Alaeddin Keykubad I. Alaeddin Keykubad I is the most notable sultan among these rulers. After his accession to the throne 1220-1237, he began fortifying the fortresses in the Seljuk country, starting with the capital Konya Darül-mülk. The Sultan issued an edict, requesting all emirs to participate in the construction of the fortifications. This initiative was also implemented in other important cities such as Kayseri and Sivas, turning the country into a construction site. After Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I conquered Kalonoros Alaiyye, an important port in the Mediterranean after Antalya, he immediately began expanding the fortifications. Notably, Sultan Alaeddin I had a strong affection for this place, as evidenced by his decision to name it after himself. This affection is also reflected in the inscriptions. The inscriptions suggest that Sultan Alaeddin expressed gratitude to Allah for the acquisition of the region al-minneti lillah. Most of the castle walls, including the Kizilkule and the shipyard, were built by Sultan Alaeddin himself, with the assistance of a few emirs who were in his close service Emir-Candar, Otakbasi, Sharabsalar. This study aims to provide information about the emirs who participated in the construction of the walls of Alanya Alaiyye.

II. Kılıç Arslan, I. Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev, I. İzzeddin Keykavus, I. Alaeddin Keykubad döneminde, Konya başta olmak üzere Kayseri, Sivas, Malatya, Afyon, Erzurum gibi kalelerde eklemeler ve tahkimat yapıldığı görülmektedir. Bu sultanlar içinde en dikkat çeken sultan, I. Alaeddin Keykubaddır. I. Alaeddin Keykubad tahta çıkışından itibaren 1220-1237 Selçuklu ülkesinde bulunan kaleleri tahkim etmeye başlamıştır.
