Özet:

The novel Zamansız is a narrative that contains many details such as its poetic narrative, its reconstruction of language, its postmodern features, its psychological substructure, and its references to tradition. Zamansız, which has a very intricate and colorful fiction, attracts attention with its emphasis on language and its use of original language, which is as far away from the everyday language seen in the first chapters of the novel. In this study, Latife Tekins work called Zamansız was examined on the axis of the language element, which is frequently cited in the novel. Work; an attempt has been made to make sense of it by taking help from the teachings of Jacques Lacan, who deepened psychoanalysis with a post-structuralist approach and brought a new breath to the view of language. Working on Freuds teachings, Lacan made a name for himself with his scientific approach, especially regarding the unconscious. Lacan, who closely followed Saussure and his linguistic studies, established a connection between psychoanalysis and linguistic studies and developed the scientific structure put forward by Freud in his period, especially on the relationship between the unconscious and language. The signifier-signified system used in the work titled Zamansız, metaphors, dreams, interchangeable characters, themes of a lover trying to take on the role of a mother, expressing his feelings about his son and daughter, are reminiscent of Lacan and his teachings. Issues such as the father, which is mentioned under the subheading of The Incomplete, the language that is desired to be created from scratch, and the story that is tried to be written to understand and repair the disappointments, also point to the Lacanian perspective.
