Özet:

Literature is an art in which people express their feelings, dreams, thoughts and experiences in a rich and beautiful way through language and writing. Childrens literature is expresses works written in accordance with the age and development characteristics of children. Although studies in this field have started late in the world, it can be considered a reason that more efforts are being made. Nubihar journal, which has been published since 1992 as a long-term Kurdish journal, has an important place in Kurdish journals, and in this study, the texts and drawings published in Nubihar journal have been evaluated in detail within the scope of childrens literature. First of all, the concepts of child and childrens literature and the purpose of childrens literature were discussed in a general context, and then the childrens section, which had been prepared as a separate section in the journla for years, was examined. Which articles, drawings and pictures targeting Kurdish children are published in the journal constitute the subject of this study. In order to determine what is prepared for Kurdish children, the Nubihars issues between 1992-2010 were examined and evaluated. The aim of the study is to take a small step in this field and draw the attention of new generations to this deficiency in Kurdish childrens literature and to be the reason for more studies on this subject. With this study, we have determined that Nubihar journal, although not in a professional and pedagogical way, made an effort to prepare a section for Kurdish children and wanted to educate and entertain them in religious, moral and national terms.
