 In this study, it is aimed to examine pre-service teachers attitudes towards scientific research and self-efficacy in terms of various variables and to evaluate the relationship between the two in the context of critical thinking skills. In the study, single survey model was used in the context of question 1 of the research and relational survey model was used in the context of questions 2 and 3. The data collection tool of the study was the personal information form prepared by the researchers, the Attitude Towards Scientific Research Scale developed by Korkmaz, Şahin, and Yeşil 2011, the Scientific Research Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Akçöltekin 2019, and the Critical Thinking Skills Scale developed by Özdemir 2005. The sample of the study consists of 328 pre-service teachers studying at Giresun University Faculty of Education in the 2023-2024 academic year. The data obtained from the research were analyzed with t-test, Mann Whitney-U, Kruskal Wallis-H and correlation tests within the scope of sub-objectives using SPSS 25 package program. It was found that there was a positive and high level relationship between pre-service teachers attitudes towards scientific research and their scientific research self-efficacy, and a low level, negative and insignificant relationship between their critical thinking skills and their scientific research self-efficacy.

 Bu araştırmada, öğretmen adaylarının bilimsel araştırmaya yönelik tutumlarını ve öz yeterliliklerini çeşitli değişkenler açısından inceleyerek, ikisi arasındaki ilişkinin eleştirel düşünme becerisi bağlamında değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmada, nicel araştırma yöntemi tarama modellerinden araştırmanın 1. sorusu bağlamında tekil tarama, 2 ve 3. sorusu bağlamında ise ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aracını araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu, Korkmaz, Şahin ve Yeşil 2011in geliştirmiş oldukları Bilimsel Araştırmaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Akçöltekin 2019 tarafından geliştirilen Bilimsel Araştırma Öz Yeterlilik Ölçeği ve Özdemir 2005 tarafından geliştirilen Eleştirel Düşünme Becerileri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Giresun Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 328 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 25 paket programı kullanılarak alt amaçlar kapsamında t-testi, Mann Whitney-U, Kruskal Wallis-H ve korelasyon testleriyle çözümlenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının bilimsel araştırmaya yönelik tutumları ile bilimsel araştırma öz yeterlilikleri arasında pozitif ve yüksek düzeyde ilişki; eleştirel düşünme becerileri ve bilimsel araştırma öz yeterlilikleri arasında ise düşük düzeyde, negatif ve anlamsız ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
