Özet:

The article analyzes quotations and allusions to biblical religious texts presented in the song discourse of the Austrian band Princesse Angine. It is revealed that these intertextual references mostly refer to the Old Testament, and less often to the New Testament. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the analysis of the mentioned texts will allow us to expand the understanding of modern Russian-language song discourse and its greater focus on an educated, reading audience. The novelty consists in the fact that to date there are no scientific works devoted to the analysis of song discourse of this group, and in general song poetry has not been subjected to in-depth research. It is concluded that the use of such intertextual inclusions adds semantic depth and additional shades of meaning to songs in the genre of indie-pop.
