Özet:

Orientalism is one of the leading theories of postcolonial literary studies. This article investigates whether there are still orientalist representations or not and if so, it searches for them and how they funtion. While looking for its ties with the past, their present changes are not overlooked. It argues how a new binarism transforms into Civilization Clash and Occidentalists fall into this trap. This study is after the new Orientalized and the representations of them by the new Orientalists. Without creating a new East-West binarism, it unravels how these representations function by examining them. It opposes ensuing homogeneity and by defending mutiple Easts and Wests, it separates itself from Occidentalists. In so doing, it withdraws from offering a new representational hegemony. Rather than having the last word, it aims to spark the first light by presenting a fresh breath. By introducing decoloniality as the follower of postcolonialism which have resisted Orientalism, this study ends.
