Özet:

In order for people to maintain their existence and sustain their lives, they need to be both physically and mentally healthy. Maintaining this condition is only possible with easy access to health services and accessibility of diagnosis and treatment requirements. In the provision of health care, the quality of care and medical technological facilities as well as physical space facilities should be planned. In Turkey, family health centres are located at the first step of health services. Family health centres provide preventive and primary health care services. Within the scope of the study, existing family health centres in Turkey and in different countries were evaluated. The sample group of the evaluation was formed with a selection to cover the segments of the society, which are healthy and detailed information is available and which show diversity in terms of economic and social profile. In the provision of preventive and primary health care services, analyses were made in line with the needs of the users consisting of caregivers, patientshealthy people and their relatives. In the study, descriptive analysis method was used. As a result of the analyses, design and planning problems in existing family health centres were discussed. By evaluating the findings obtained in this framework, it is aimed to create identity, aesthetic and applicable design models that meet user needs in order to improve the interior spaces of family health centres that have not yet been opened or are currently serving. In line with the determined purpose, new interior space models based on design principles have been created to meet the qualified physical space needs of family health centres.
