Özet:

Cyberloafing is a form of behavior that occurs with personal use of the internet at work. In this study, the importance of cyber loafing, which has become an inevitable behavior with the advancement of technology, in the lives of working people is mentioned. The study was conducted to examine whether different demographic factors and the sectors in which the participants work affect cyberloafing behaviors. Five hundred and twenty-six 526 people participated in the questionnaire made with questions prepared to measure demographic characteristics and cyber loafing. According to the findings, demographic factors affecting different types of cyber loafing were revealed. It has been observed that there is a significant difference between cyberloafing behavior according to marital status. It has been determined that serious cyberloafing differs from social media applications according to Instagram usage. It is concluded that the use of Twitter differs according to all types of cyberloafing. It has been revealed that minor cyberloafing behavior differs depending on education groups and non-work internet usage times, and serious cyberloafing behavior differs according to monthly income, age, and non-work internet groups. For the general cyberloafing behavior, a difference was determined according to age groups and non-work internet usage groups.
