 Museology is a significant learning domain that connects individuals with culture, facilitates understanding of the past, and enables a unique perspective for envisioning the future while supporting creative thinking. Restricting museology to museum visits and theoretical knowledge often results in a disconnect between individuals and museums, preventing the full realization of their potential. Therefore, there is a need for innovative and creative approaches rooted in experience, exploration, and imagination, which strengthen the bond between individuals and museums. One such method is the integration of creative drama into museology education. Traditional teaching methods often fall short in ensuring active student participation. This research aims to examine the impact of applying creative drama methods to museology education on student experiences. It focuses on understanding the learning processes, perceptions, and experiences of students who received museology education through creative drama at Enstitü Istanbul İSMEK. The study group consists of 15 participants who attended a 64-hour applied drama workshop, during which museology education was delivered using creative drama techniques. Designed as a qualitative study, the research employs two primary data collection methods: document analysis and semi-structured interviews. Data obtained from interviews conducted with semi-structured forms were analyzed using content analysis and categorized under specific themes. The research aims to determine whether delivering museology education through creative drama is an effective learning tool and to evaluate the pedagogical contributions of this method. The findings indicate that participants developed a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective on museology. Furthermore, their awareness of the potential for museums to serve as effective educational spaces through creative drama significantly increased. After the implementation, participants demonstrated heightened interest and awareness in aesthetic expression and creative thinking related to museology. Based on these findings, it is recommended to include creative drama-based activities and practices in museology education. Additionally, it is suggested that museum education units develop instructional programs linked to creative drama methods to enhance educational offerings.

 Müzecilik, bireyi kültürle buluşturan, geçmişi anlamasına ve geleceğe farklı bir perspektiften bakmasına olanak sağlayan; yaratıcı düşünmeyi destekleyen önemli bir öğrenme alanıdır. Müzeciliği yalnızca müze gezileri ve teorik bilgilerle sınırlı tutmak, birey ile müze arasında bir mesafe oluşmasına ve müzelerin potansiyelinin tam anlamıyla anlaşılamamasına neden olmaktadır. Bu nedenle, birey ile müze arasındaki bağı güçlendirecek; deneyime, keşfe ve hayal gücüne dayalı, yenilikçi ve yaratıcı yaklaşımlara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu yöntemlerden biri de müzecilik eğitiminin yaratıcı drama yoluyla verilmesidir. Geleneksel öğretim yöntemleri çoğu zaman öğrencilerin aktif katılımını sağlamada yetersiz kalmaktadır. Bu araştırma, müzecilik eğitiminin yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle ele alınmasının öğrenci deneyimlerine olan etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, Enstitü İstanbul İsmekte yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle müzecilik eğitimi verilen öğrencilerin öğrenme süreçlerini, algılarını ve deneyimlerini anlamaya odaklanmaktadır. Çalışma grubunu, uygulamalı drama atölyesi eğitimine katılan 15 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında, 64 saatlik uygulamalı drama atölyesi çerçevesinde müzecilik eğitimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma nitel bir çalışma olarak tasarlanmış, verilerin toplanması sürecinde iki temel yöntem uygulanmıştır. Bunlardan ilki doküman incelemesi, ikincisi ise yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniğidir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları aracılığıyla öğrencilerle gerçekleştirilen görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilerek belirli temalar altında gruplandırılmıştır. Araştırma, müzecilik eğitiminin yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle yürütülmesinin etkili bir öğrenme aracı olup olmadığını ortaya koymayı ve bu yöntemin eğitim süreçlerine getirdiği yaklaşımları değerlendirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, katılımcıların müzeciliği bütünsel ve disiplinler arası bir bakış açısıyla ele almaya başladıkları ve müzelerin yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle etkili bir eğitim alanı olarak kullanılabileceğine dair farkındalıklarının arttığı belirlenmiştir. Uygulamanın ardından, müzecilikle ilgili estetik ifade ve yaratıcı düşünme becerileri konusunda ilgi ve farkındalık düzeylerinde artış gözlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlardan hareketle, müzecilik eğitiminde yaratıcı drama yöntemine dayalı etkinlik ve uygulama örneklerine yer verilmesi; ayrıca müzelerin eğitim birimleri tarafından yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle ilişkilendirilmiş öğretim programlarının geliştirilmesi önerilmektedir.
