Özet:

This article focuses on the leadership qualities of 15 Ghaznavid sultans who preserved state assets from Ghazni to Northern India for 188 years. The Ghaznavid State, which survived for about two centuries, was due to the fact that it was led by some astute sultans, such as Mahmud of Ghazni, and from time to time, it became a subject state, dissolved, and eventually withdrew from the stage of history, due to the fact that it remained in the hands of some inexperienced and inexperienced sultans. The Ghaznavid sultans, who were internally on the line of Ahli-Sunnah wal-Jamaah and externally developed a policy on the Indian wars, appear to be pious people, except for exceptional cases. While the founder of the state, Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni, took his place in the pages of history as a devout, powerful, knowledge- and wisdom-friendly sultan, Sultan Muhammad, whom he appointed crown prince in his place, appeared as a helpless and meek person. Sultan Mesud, who had a harsh temperament and had a say in the army management, dethroned his brother and took over the government, and he was soon defeated by the Seljuks due to his reckless behavior. Sultan Mevdud b., who ascended the throne after the second reign of Sultan Muhammad. Sultan Mesud is known as a statist, experienced and dignified person. His son, Sultan Mesud b., succeeded him at a young age. Sultan Mevdud did not have much of a say in the state. Army emirs seized power and appointed his uncle, Ali b. Mesud was appointed to office. Sultan Ali acted with sound mind by establishing familial relations with the Seljuks.
