Özet:

It is known that the Qurʾān and Sunnah are the two main sources of Islam. Undoubtedly, the most important generation that enabled sunnah to reach both actually and verbally to the present was the generation of the Prophet’s companions. In other words, the hadiths that can be expressed as verbal and written as expressions of the sunnah were first reported by the generation of the companions. For this reason, especially hadith scholars, during the historical process, carried out introductory studies for this generation that provided the transmission of hadiths. However, it is not possible to say that the information about each companion included in these studies is the same agree. For a number of reasons, a lot of information is available about some of them, while limited information is available about some of them. Similarly, for some reasons, the amount of hadiths reported by every companion was not the same. While some of them narrated a large number of hadiths, the rest narrated only a small number of hadiths. This study is about the life of Mālik b. Huwayris, who has not known very much and we have had relatively less information about him, his narrations and the effect of those related to prayer on some opinions of the four madhhabs. In this context, the study has three interrelated main aims. One of these is to tidy up the information about him scattered in the sources. The second is to present his narrations in the relevant sources and to evaluate them. The third is to determine the effect of his hadiths about prayer that have founded in the relevant sources on the views of the four madhhabs. Thus, it was tried to compile the information about life of this companion and to reveal the effect of the amount and time of togetherness with the Prophet (pbuh) on the num-ber of his narrations, the amount of information about him and the understanding of his narrations. In line with these aims, first of all, sources related to rijāl, especially those dedicated to the knowledge of the companions, were consulted. In addition, hadith sources were consulted. Because the narrations in the hadith sources also contain information about him. Based on the information about Mālik b. Huwayris in these sources, his full name, who his father was, his lineage, tribe, time of coming to the Prophet (pbuh), with whom he came, the duration of residence in Madinah, his students and his death were discussed. Thus, a biography about this companion has been created that the reader can benefit from. Later, it was tried to determine in this study how many narrations of Mālik b. Huwayris, who were understood not to have many narrations, which subjects these narrations were related to, and the amount and time of togetherness with the Prophet (pbuh) on the number of his narrations. These narrations, which are observed to have common features in terms of their content and the sources they are in, are divided into two groups as those in the Kutub al-Tisʿah and those in other hadith sources. The authenticity assessment was made about the ones that were found in Kutub al-Tisʿah and related to matters except of prayer. The narrations about prayer, which were found to have no health problems as a whole, were also classified according to their content and their nonrepetitive number was determined. Finally, contrary to the other narrations, his narrations about prayer were discussed separately for two aims. It was examined in which judgments of these narrations about prayer were used as evidence by the four fiqh madhhabs. In this context, it is also tried to emphasize which narrations they present as evidence in the judgments put forward by the madhhabs and which they use in a supportive nature to the narrations from other companions. In addition, it was tried to be clarified whether the time and amount of this companions' togetherness with the Prophet (pbuh) had an effect on understanding his narrations. As a result, it has been concluded that compiling information about the companions and knowing the amount of time that they spent with the Prophet (pbuh) can contribute to the correct understanding of the hadiths they narrated. In this sense, it is possible to say that the studies related to the companions who made the sunnah, which is the second source of the religion, survive to the present, will contribute to researcher in the science of hadith.

Huveyris’in hayatı, rivayetleri ve bunlardan namazla ilgili olanların dört mezhebin bazı görüşlerine etkisi hakkındadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın birbiriyle ilişkili üç temel hedefi bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan biri, Mâlik b. Huveyris’le ilgili dağınık halde bulunan bilgileri derleyip toplamaktır. İkincisi, hadis kaynaklarındaki rivayetlerini ortaya koymak ve onlarla ilgili değerlendirme yapmaktır. Üçüncüsü de ilgili kaynaklarda tespit edilen namaza ilişkin hadislerinin dört mezhebin görüşlerine etkisini tespit etmektir. Böylece bu sahâbînin hayatı hakkındaki bilgileri derleyip toplamaya, Rasûlullah’la (s.a.v.) olan birliktelik miktar ve vaktinin onun rivayet sayısına, hakkındaki bilginin miktarına ve ona ait rivayetlerin anlaşılmasına etkisi ortaya konulmaya gayret edilmiştir. Bu hedefler doğrultusunda öncelikle başta sahâbe bilgisine has kılınanlar olmak üzere ricalle ilgili kaynaklara başvurulmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra hadis kaynaklarına da müracaat edilmiştir. Zira hadis kaynaklarındaki rivayetler de onun hakkında bilgi içermektedir. Bu kaynaklardaki Mâlik b. Huveyris’e dair bilgilerden hareketle onun tam ismi, babasının kim olduğu, nesebi, kabilesi, Rasûlullah’a (s.a.v.) geliş vakti, kimlerle birlikte geldiği, onun (s.a.v.) yanındaki ikamet süresi, talebeleri ve vefatı konuları işlenmiştir. Bunların Kütüb-i Tisʿa’da bulunup namaz dışındaki konularla ilgili olanları hakkında sıhhat değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.
