Özet:

Sirah writing is a field of endeavor that has been expanded in the majority of narrations in terms of content in light of the needs and problems that emerged in societies in certain periods. This expansion has paved the way for the emergence of many new genres in sirah writing. One of the sub-branches of sirah that emerged was the Dalāʼil Literature that prioritized and aimed at proving prophethood. Although this genre realized its systematic development in the 2nd8th century, it is known that examples within the scope of dalāil are found in earlier sirah books; however, the exact beginning of this work has not yet been determined. Although not all of the first sirah sources have survived to the present day, some of these works, whose existence is mentioned, were compiled as a result of rāvi-centered scans. Due to these studies, which are not sufficient to reflect the whole of the original work, we have to turn to later sources. Among the extant copies, it is possible to encounter the first examples of the dalāʼil genre in Ibn Ishāqs work. However, most of the copies written by Ibn Ishāq have not survived to the present day. Ibn Hishām, who compiled his narrations, offers a more holistic narrative on the subject of dalāʼil. Therefore, in this article, we first tried to identify the narratives in the works of both authors. However, since many examples of this genre were encountered during the research, it was necessary to limit the research to the pre-prophetic period. This interval, which includes narrations of the Irhāsāt type, is considered to be one of the beginning and basic subjects of the literature of dalāʼil. After this limitation, the narrations in question were classified chronologically and it was tried to be understood whether the work in question was for a specific purpose or whether the narrations were collected in accordance with the natural course of sirah. Therefore, the study tried to reach a final conclusion by using the principles of narration-centered data detection, analysis method, and logic.
