 The aim of this study is to reveal the Industry 4.0 knowledge levels and digital competence levels of geography teachers. In the research, a semi-structured interview form was prepared to determine the Industry 4.0 knowledge levels and digital competence levels of geography teachers. In the semi-structured interview form, there are 12 open-ended questions to measure teachers Industry 4.0 knowledge levels and determine their digital competence levels. The semi-structured interview form was applied to 20 geography teachers working in Mudanya, Yıldırım, Osmangazi and Nilüfer districts of Bursa. It was concluded that 50 of the geography teachers participating in the study did not know the definition of Industry 4.0, but 50 of them could give examples about Industry 4.0 technologies and 60 of them used Industry 4.0 technologies. It was concluded that teachers were generally able to define digital competence and 50 of them stated that there are achievements related to information and communication technologies in the geography curriculum. In order to improve teachers Industry 4.0 knowledge and digital competence levels, it is suggested that pre-service and in-service trainings should be provided and software and hardware facilities should be improved in schools.

 Bu araştırmanın amacı, coğrafya öğretmenlerinin Endüstri 4.0 bilgi düzeylerini ve dijital yetkinlik seviyelerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada coğrafya öğretmenlerinin Endüstri 4.0 bilgi düzeyleri ve dijital yetkinlik seviyelerinin tespiti amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formunda öğretmenlerin Endüstri 4.0 bilgi düzeylerini ve dijital yetkinlik seviyelerini tespit etmek amacıyla 12 adet açık uçlu soru bulunmaktadır. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, Bursa ili Mudanya, Yıldırım, Osmangazi ve Nilüfer ilçelerinde görev yapan 20 coğrafya öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan coğrafya öğretmenlerinin 50sinin Endüstri 4.0 tanımını bilmedikleri ancak 50sinin Endüstri 4.0 teknolojileri ile ilgili örnekler verebildikleri ve 60ının Endüstri 4.0 teknolojilerini kullandıkları sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin genel olarak dijital yetkinliği tanımlayabildikleri, 50sinin ise coğrafya dersi öğretim programında bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerine yönelik kazanımlar bulunduğunu belirttikleri sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin Endüstri 4.0 bilgi düzeyinin ve dijital yetkinlik seviyelerinin gelişmesi amacıyla hizmet öncesi ve hizmet içi eğitimler verilmesi ve okullarda yazılım ve donanım imkanlarının geliştirilmesi öneri olarak sunulmaktadır.
