Özet:

The Palestine Liberation Organization is an organization that emerged in the Palestinian geography called the Holy Land and aims to protect the rights of the Palestinian people against Israel and to make Palestine independent. In this study, the political and social events that paved the way for the establishment of the organization will be discussed in a historical context. First, information will be given about the human, social and cultural structure of the region, and then about the Jewish settlements that left their mark on the British mandate period that was active in the region. Secondly, the political, social and historical events that led to the emergence of the Palestine Liberation Organization will be mentioned, and the first anti-Semitic organizations that emerged in the region and other organizations that were involved in the establishment of the organization will be mentioned. Thirdly, the structure of the Organization, its ideology and its activities will be mentioned. The effects of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which carried out the Oslo Accords processes, losing its effectiveness in the First and Second Intifada movements will be given. The study will be completed by giving information about the death of Yasser Arafat, the leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The general theme of this article is to remind that the organizations carrying out the Palestinian resistance consist of various ideologically opposing elements such as Maximism-Leninism, Arab nationalism and Islamism.
