Özet:

The study examined whether the words in the meaning sections of the articles of the Turkish Dictionary prepared by the Turkish Language Association were added as independent items in the work. Among the findings, it was tried to identify the vocabulary that is not included in the work as an independent item but is suitable to be added as an item. After scanning the items between the letters A-H of the 11th and 12th editions of the work, 52 words and phrases that are suitable to be an item were identified. The titles of the articles and the meaning sections of the articles in which they appear in the work were given, and the words or phrases identified were marked on the meaning sections. Explanations are given about the characteristics of the marked vocabulary, the nature of the marked vocabulary, how many different articles appear in the work, and the presence of other meanings that are not specified in the work. In particular, it has been tried to prove that the words used as terms are in use by witnessing them with quotations from various works of science and art. In places where the identified vocabulary appears in the meaning section of the 11th edition of the Turkish Dictionary but not in the 12th edition or where there are changes, the meaning in the 11th edition is recorded, and these differences are indicated with in the meaning section of the article in which the word appears. In some places marked with , opinions and suggestions about ensuring the internal consistency of the works meaning presentations are briefly included to contribute, and words that are in danger of being lost in the current edition are pointed out.
