Özet:

Global competition, economic recession, downsizing and global epidemics cause employees to feel job insecurity. This perceived job insecurity has detrimental effects on both employee behavior and organizational outcomes. It is unknown how much job insecurity is examined by Turkish tourism researchers, despite the fact that job insecurity has been regularly investigated in international literature. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine the job insecurity studies in the field of tourism in Turkey. The studies conducted have been examined using bibliometric analysis. The studies were categorized based on their year, type, number of authors, and institutions with which the authors were affiliated. The findings demonstrate that the majority of research on job insecurity was conducted in 2019, 2020, and 2021; the greatest number of publications were done as articles, and the studies with two authors took first place. In light of the findings, some suggestions were offered to tourism researchers.
