Özet:

Many scholars from different sects were criticizing and responding to their opponents point of views, Ibn Taymiyyah is one of the most famous one in this field. He is distinguished, like no one other, in spite of the fact that his era was full of conflicts, philosophies, sects and various opponent thoughts, such as Twelver Shiism and Batiniyya. Talking about Ibn Taymiyyah approaches in dealing with opponents sects thoughts, we find big differences in the methods and approaches of responding to the opponent thoughts. Ibn Taymiyyahs mechanisms and methods characterized to be very different from others, when he was responding to the ideologies, thoughts and believes that he thought they were opponent to his methodology. This research is focusing on his personalities, description of his opponents and the approaches he adapted to responding to his opponents. I applied the prescriptive method and I have adapted extrapolation to set down the results.
