Özet:

Illegal settlements squatter settlements have been an ongoing problem in most developing countries and even in some developed countries. This has led to the loss of large amounts of money, resources, time, and energy. In areas of dense urbanization, it is quite costly to track land operations with accurate geographic mapping and monitoring. It requires more time and labor. Inspection cannot be done regularly. Sometimes it is impossible to complete a task within six months or a year. Therefore, it is more practical to automate these processes in real-time from an aerial perspective. Developments in remote sensing and UAV technologies have manifested themselves in the mapping sector in parallel with all fields where these technologies are used. The biggest problem for cities that are or should be designed with zoning plans is illegal structures. While the detection of illegal structures, which threaten the existence of cities, was previously a process that required a large number of personnel and time, it can now be done more easily and quickly thanks to the developing UAV technologies. In this way, unplanned urbanization and socio-economic problems caused by illegal construction are prevented. In this study, aerial imaging was performed with a fixed-wing UAV, and orthophotos of two different times were produced. On the orthophotos produced, 163 illegal structures belonging to the area were detected.
