Özet:

Although the poem Медный Всадник The Copper Horseman by A.S. Pushkin 1799-1837 seems to be about a Russian monarch, it is a historical experience that provides a unique perspective to contemporary philosophical debates. The focal point of the poem, Tsar Peter I Пётр I Алексéевич, adopted an understanding that can be defined as State Idea государственность in order to develop Russia, which had experienced a total decline due to many unfavourable historical processes. According to this understanding, the development of Russia depends entirely on the strengthening of the Russian state, and therefore on investments that strengthen the state such as the army, economy, academia and industry. In this context, the ruler carried out a series of modernisation revolutions that encompassed every aspect of Russian society in order to consolidate the state, and even sacrificed his people and himself for the sake of the state during these revolutions. As a result, although he developed Russia materially, he did not observe most universal human values, especially justice and respect for human beings. This situation led to the monarch being perceived as a hero and a tyrant. Pushkins poem Медный Всадник is noteworthy for the positive and negative aspects of Peter Is revolutions. The aim of this study is not only to present a cross-section of Russian history, but also to show that the poem breathes new life into contemporary philosophical discussions of creation and provides an important insight into materialist conceptions of politics.

A.S. Poemanın odak noktası Çar I. Petro Пётр I Алексéевич, birçok olumsuz tarihsel süreçler nedeniyle toptan bir gerileme yaşayan Rusyayı kalkındırmak için Devlet Ülküsü государственность şeklinde tanımlanabilecek bir anlayış benimsemiştir.
