Özet:

Daskyleion is at the crossroads of North-South and East-West sea and land trade. In addition, the fact that the settlement was established on the edge of Lake Manyas makes the settlement safe against external dangers. The opportunities offered by the lake and the fertile lands around it have enabled the settlement to be inhabited uninterruptedly since the Early Iron Age. Excavations in the settlement and tombs allow us to obtain information about the cultures that lived here. Excavations and research studies carried out in the field in recent years have been carried out in an interdisciplinary perspective. Akrodaskyleion is a city center where the citys elite live and where public and religious buildings are located. This study aims to provide information about the daily habits of this multicultural society and their relations with the environment by talking about the research carried out to better understand the multicultural structure in Daskyleion. The studies focus especially on the possibilities of the cultures living here in accessing economic resources, land use, production and consumption habits and social structures. By terracing the Akrodaskyleion, the land was used efficiently. For the defense of the city, the area to the east of the hill was used for the construction of walls from different periods. The people living here were live on by husbandry, fishing and agriculture. It can be said that the excess consumption product is stored and the elite people are well fed in the society. Weaving has been done in almost every period. The settlement has a self-sufficient social structure with its production opportunities.

Hemen hemen her dönem dokumacılık yapılmıştır.
