Özet:

This study examines the historical position and role of women in Islam. First, we will evaluate the criticisms directed at Islam regarding womens rights, which are based on some narrations. Then, we will address the roles of Muslim women in social life and the practical examples of Islamic jurisprudence on this subject. To better understand the issue, we will compare the positions and perspectives of women in pre-Islamic Roman, Greek, and Indian societies with the rights and responsibilities granted to women by Islam. This comparison will help us reveal Islams unique approach to womens rights. Additionally, we will examine the lives and exemplary qualities of distinguished women raised in the light of Islam, such as Eve Hawwa, Hagar Hacer, Mary Meryem, Khadija Hatice, and Aisha Aişe. These women have left significant marks on human history and have become role models for Muslim women. 1 Looking at human history, we see that Muslim women have assumed important roles in every field and have left lasting impacts. Eve, as the mother of all humanity, has the distinction of being the first human. Hagar stands out with her patience and sacrifice. Mary is the symbol of chastity and purity. 2 Khadija was the first wife of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and one of the first to believe in Islam. 3 Aisha is known for her knowledge and intelligence and is considered an authority in the fields of hadith and jurisprudence. 4 This study aims to reveal the value Islam places on women and the important roles Muslim women have undertaken throughout history.

Hz. Havva, tüm insanlığın anası olarak ilk insan olma özelliğini taşır. Hz. Hacer, sabır ve fedakârlığıyla öne çıkar. Hz. Meryem, iffet ve saflığın sembolüdür. Hz. Hatice, Hz. Muhammedin s.a.v. ilk eşi ve İslama ilk inananlardan biridir. Hz.
