 The purpose of this study is to question how often the selected types of models used in the ninth-grade physics textbook are used and whether these models contain scientific mistakes The study was conducted with document analysis. Mathematical models, mapsdiagramstables and simulations in the Physics textbook of MoNE for the ninth-grade were examined. A form was created with the model images in the book and three experts were consulted. They were asked to write whether the models had mistakes, and if so, what the mistakes were. In addition, they were asked to determine the degree of mistake. The analysis of the data was made with the descriptive analysis. According to the results of the research, it was seen that it was generally distributed in a balanced way based on the topics included in the units and the length of the topics. The rate of models that all three experts describe as correct was 34.98. Although there were mistakes in about 23 of the models, the degree of mistakes was different. In total, the mistake rate was 17.40. The highest mistake rate was in the simulations 52.78, and the lowest mistake rate was in the tables 9.62. Mistakes in the models were classified as ScaleProportion Mistakes, MissingIncorrect Information, Wrong Impression Mistakes, Display Mistakes, and Other Mistakes. The most common mistake type was MissingIncorrect Information, and the least one was ScaleProportion Mistakes.

 Bu çalışmanın amacı dokuzuncu sınıf fizik dersi kitabında kullanılan bazı modeller türlerinin ne sıklıkla kullanıldığını ve bu modellerin bilimsel hata içerip içermediklerini sorgulamaktır. Çalışma doküman analizi ile yapılmıştır. Dokuzuncu sınıf için MEBin fizik dersi kitabında yer alan matematiksel model, haritadiyagramtablo ve simülasyonlar incelenmiştir. Kitap içindeki model görselleri ile bir form oluşturularak üç uzmanın görüşüne başvurulmuştur. Modellerin hatalı olup olmadığı, hatalı ise hatanın ne olduğunu yazmaları istenmiştir. Ayrıca hata derecelerini belirlemeleri istenmiştir. Verilerin analizi betimsel analiz yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, modeller genellikle ünitelerin içerdiği konulara, konu uzunluklarına göre dengeli dağılmıştır. Uzmanların üçünün de doğru olarak nitelendirdiği model oranı 34,98dir. Modellerin yaklaşık 23ünde hata olmasına karşın bu hataların derecesi farklıdır. Toplamda hata oranı 17,40 olarak bulunmuştur. En çok hata oranının simülasyonlarda 52,78, en az hata oranının tablolarda 9,62 olduğu görülmektedir. Modellerde yer alan hatalar ÖlçekOrantı Hataları, EksikHatalı Bilgiler, Yanlış İzlenim Oluşturan Hatalar, Gösterim Hataları, Diğer Hatalar olmak üzere sınıflandırılmıştır. En çok rastlanan hata türü EksikHatalı Bilgiler, en az rastlananı ise ÖlçekOrantı Hataları olmuştur.
