Özet:

It is an a priori truth
that the Prophet of Islam—who was, historically, not received teaching from any
human being; and as such was missioned to teach as well as to guide all
humanity starting from the Arab society of the Jâhiliyyah Era / the Era of Existential
Ignorance—  to human beings as a  whole in accordance with the revealed divine
edifications was predictably educated by a transcendental source. In such a
connection, the Qur’ân repeatedly emphasizes that the Prophet (PBUH) is
bestowed both wahy (“divine revelation”) and hikmah (“wisdom”), which is beside
the Qur’ân, yet somehow apart from it. (al-Nisâ’, 113)

Not to mention, the
word hikmah connotes various meanings at various junctures in the Qur’ânic
verses, as seen in this article. In this study, connected to the matter under
study, especially two meanings of al-hikmah—i.e. “curbing” (i.e., obstructing
negative attitudes and behaviors) and “edifying with a special divine
episteme”—will be at the stake in the aim to specify and emphasize the divine
edification given to the Prophet and the Sunnah taught.  From hence, the study aims to analyze the
divinely edification received by the Prophet and the source from which the
taught-Sunnah flowed. What is more, the edificatory periods of the Prophet is
categorized within two periods: The first is the pre-Revelatory Period that is
his educational phases till the age of forty; and the second is the Revelatory
Period that spans twenty-three years. For the former, as vindicated by many
prophetic relations, he was protected and preserved through various means of
divine surveillance from wrong creeds and customs within the context of an
associatory society. For the latter, he was obviously subjected to divine
guidance and initiation in many cases and occasions, be they the modes of
discharge of certain prayers manifested from prophetic praxes, yet not
vindicated clearly by Qur’ânic verses, or they divine guidance hinted by some
Qur’ânic verses, yet not explicated in it openly. Thence, it can be claimed
that the former period is preparatory period for the prophecy of the Prophet;
and the latter is a scene where the Sunnah was formed and shaped through
spiritual edification and communication apart from the Qur’ânic wahy.

etmektedir. Ancak biz, bunların arasından, konumuza uygun olduğunu
düşündüğümüz;“gem vurmak yani olumsuz durumlardan engellemek” ve “özel ilahi bilgiyle
eğitmek” gibi anlamları temel alarak Hz. Peygamber’in edindiği rabbani eğitimi
ve kendisine öğretilen sünnetin neşet ettiği kaynağı inceleyeceğiz. Onun
