Özet:

This study was carried out to estimate the catchable stocks of carp Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758 and sire Capoeta capoeta, Guldenstaedt, 1772 in Sarımemet, Koçköprü and Zernek Lakes. In these dam lakes, between June and September 2019, four fishing operations were carried out using plain extension nets with an eye width of 24, 28, 36 and 44 mm for siraz and 55, 60, 65 and 70 mm for carp. As a result of the calculations; The catchable stock in Koçköprü Dam Lake is 3.247 kg for carp and 3.152 kg for siraz; In Sarımemet Dam Lake, 4,771 kg for carp and 3,195 kg for siraz; It has been estimated as 2.144 kg for carp and 3.728 kg for siraz in Zernek Dam Lake. According to the findings and calculations, it is seen that the total catchable stocks in all three dam lakes are close to each other. Although the catchable carp stock amounts calculated for Koçköprü and Sarımemet Dam Lakes are quite close to each other, this amount was found to be lower in Zernek Dam Lake, which is thought to be due to the lack of sufficient breeding grounds for fish in Zernek Dam Lake. It has been determined that the estimated catchable stocks in the dam lakes do not pose a threat to the continuity of carp and siray stocks. It is considered that it would be appropriate to use plain gillnets with an eye width from knot to knot of 70 mm and above for carp fishing and 36 mm and above for siray fishing.
